In this review, I’ll be looking at the largest of the series with a maximum output of 1200W for a current street price of around 270 Euros in Germany. The new Corsair RMx Shift series includes four members with outputs ranging from 750W to 1200W. I’m not sure if this change in modular panel position will work for all cases, as some have special PSU compartments that cover the sides of the PSU, but it’s high time case manufacturers made some changes as well. This word was used because the modular panel was moved from the back to the side. And do not forget also his Websiteand the YouTube channel offer real gems of really well-founded reviews! The Corsair RM1200x ShiftĬorsair decided to keep the popular RMx series going for now, and so in its new series it again uses the RMx naming scheme, but adds a “shift” at the end. Since it is certainly interesting for you as well, I am happy to offer him the platform here on a case-by-case basis to share his findings with you. Reason enough for me to once again let my friend Aris from Hardwarebusters have his say (and picture) on our site, because he has not only tested this power supply intensively, but also officially certified it via his company Cybenetics. that’s exactly what we’re going to do today. Of course, the cables still have to prove themselves on the market, but the technical data can be measured. In addition, all Shift models are ATX v3.o and PCIe 5.0 capable. According to the brand, this provides a huge boost to cable management (well, it’s supposed to) as users have easier access to the modular panel. But what does that have to do with proper power supplies? However, the new Corsair RMx Shift series now brings with it innovation that has it all: a DC connector panel positioned on the side. The saying “You can shove it!” is not new.
